My journey started with a Nikon D40 camera for photography, capturing moments that inspire my designs. For illustration and pattern-making, I rely on Procreate on my iPad with an Apple Pencil. These tools let me create vibrant stickers and digital designs with precision and flexibility.

Tools I Use for Digital Art

  1. Nikon D40 Camera: A versatile digital camera for capturing high-quality reference photos and artistic shots. 
  2. iPad & Apple Pencil: A game-changer for drawing and designing on the go. Paired with Procreate, it’s my go-to for creating detailed patterns and stickers.
  3. Procreate App: Intuitive and feature-packed, it’s perfect for both beginners and pros. With layers, brushes, and export options, it’s a must-have for digital illustrators.

Tips for Getting Started with Digital Art

  1. Choose the Right Tools: Invest in an iPad and Procreate for a budget-friendly yet professional setup.
  2. Learn the Basics: Explore Procreate’s tutorials to understand brushes, layers, and blending modes.
  3. Practice Daily: Spend time experimenting with different techniques, like shading or texturing.
  4. Start Simple: Don’t overwhelm yourself—begin with simple shapes, patterns, or sketches before diving into complex pieces.
  5. Use Reference Photos: Whether it’s a shot from your Nikon D40 or an online image, references help improve accuracy and creativity.
